L298N full-bridge dual motor driver breakout board is a high voltage, high current, dual full-bridge driver designed to accept standard TTL logic levels and drive inductive loads like relays, solenoids, DC and stepping motors.

All pins of the L298N are broken out to a 15-pin 0.1" pitch header.

The driver can control both motor RPM and direction of rotation. The RPM is controlled using PWM input to ENA or ENB pins, while of rotation direction is controlled by suppling high and low signal to IN1-IN2 for the first motor or IN3-IN4 for second motor

 (LOGIC SUPPLY VOLTAGE) Supply Voltage for the Logic Blocks.

H-BRIDGE A

CSA

 (CURRENT SENSING A )Between this pin and ground is connected the sense resistor to control the current of the load.

OUT1, OUT2

Outputs of the H- Bridge A. The current that flows through the load connected between these two pins is monitored at CSA pin

IN1, IN2

TTL Compatible Control Inputs of the Bridge A.

ENA

TTL Compatible Enable Input. The LOW state for disable.

H-BRIDGE B

CSB

  (Current sensinng B )Between this pin and ground is connected the sense resistor to control the current of the load.

OUT3, OUT4

Outputs of the H- Bridge B. The current that flows through the load connected between these two pins is monitored at CSB pin
