Micro:bit by BBC is a microcontroller board developed by BBC in UK. It is specifically made for kids and beginners. Using Microsoft makecode which is very easy programming language specially made for kids and people who have no experience with programming, you can make countless projects and inventions.

You can program this board to create games, build robots, make musical instruments and any other project idea you have. The board has 25 LEDs arranges as 5x5 matrix, 2 user programmable buttons, light sensor, temperature sensor, 3-axis accelerometer, compass (magnetometer) features and Bluetooth Low Energy connectivity.

At half the size of a credit card, you will be surprised at the amount of hardware each board is equipped with, including 25 red LED lights that can flash messages. There are two programmable buttons that can be used to control games or pause and skip songs on a playlist. The micro:bit can even detect motion and tell you which direction you’re heading. It can also use Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to interact with other devices and the Internet.
